The Lensbury Club is based between central London and Heathrow airport; set in 40 acres of grounds it fronts onto the Thames at Teddington Lock. With 150 en-suite rooms the extensive leisure facilities include tennis courts, sauna, steam rooms, swimming pool, gym and a beauty spa. The extensive venue is used for private hire including weddings and conferences.
The management at Lensbury Club needed to be able to communicate with grounds maintenance, security, and housekeeping staff throughout their large and busy complex. Due to the nature of the everyday work carried out on site we needed to offer a robust hand held solution. On top of this there were members of staff who needed to be able to make and receive calls through the main switchboard from anywhere within the 40 acres.
We installed a talk through base station which integrated with the club's existing phone systems using a Zetron interconnect unit. We supplied Motorola GP380, 5 tone keypad radios which were set up with differing tones to alert the various groups.
