Connecting offices and homeworkers to a unified system
Panasonics KX-NCP (Network Communication Platforms) systems leverage the latest in digital networking such as Voice over IP (VoIP) and SIP technologies to cost effectively handle multi-site and long distance communications over converged voice and data networks.
Multi-site networking helps customers with multiple sites benefit from lower costs for branch-to-branch communications by either leveraging their existing corporate Wide-Area-Networks (WANs), or using Managed VPN links. These systems support both SIP and H.323 based inter-networking as well as the traditional ISDN QSIG connectivity.
Incoming Call Distribution (ICD) groups can be set up across multiple networked sites to route calls effectively.
Operators using DSS (direct system status) keys or utilising CTI (computer telephony integration) call management software can monitor the status of individuals across the network.
Calls between networked sites are free once the correct IP infrastructure has been implemented.
Home Worker Solutions
With more and more staff working from home the demand for home worker solutions is ever increasing. Using an IP link between the home and head or branch office allows individuals working from home to benefit from full use of the telephone system with free calls between the sites once the IP link is in place.
