Like the KX-TDA15 this system has been around for some time because it’s a very good versatile modular system that is ideal for small businesses or branch offices.

It can support analogue PSTN lines and ISDN2 digital lines as well as IP connectively for homeworkers solutions and multisite network connections with branch offices.  You can install a memory expansion card that allows you to use the digital extra device ports (DXDP) on all digital phones. This means you can almost double the phone extension capacity from 28 to 52, which is a very cost effective way to expand your telephone system. 

Please note there is a trade-off between the maximum number of extensions and phone lines; i.e. if you have the maximum number of phone lines you will not get the maximum number of phone extensions, and visa versa.

Whilst this is an excellent system it is however being challenged by the newer NCP range of Panasonic phone systems.
